    I called for a second opinion and they got me in the next day. I broke my tibia, and the doctor I first went to was a total joke, so I found Dr Byington online based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. He prevented the x-ray tech from having me turn my leg (which would have hurt, but I did it at the other "Dr" so I didn't think anything of it) so he didnt let the tech do that and said it would be painful, so he cares about the patient, but the main thing I noticed from that interaction, is the way he talked to the tech, explained why she shouldn't do that, what to do instead, and it was educational, not snapping at her or being rude or condescending towards her, which Dr's sometimes are. Then, after the x-rays, they were going to take me back to a room, and the wheelchair I had didn't have foot rests for some reason (probably was mixed up with the suite across the hall) so the Dr held my leg and walked bent over, backwards down the hall to get to the room. Then he did the cast, got me a prescription for better pain meds, set up a follow up appointment for 3 weeks, and made the whole experience as enjoyable as a broken leg can be I think.

    Dr. Byington makes sure that you know what it is that he is treating. He explains everything so that you can modify your activity to prevent any further injury or pain. He has a great bedside manner as well always a smile on his face.
